Of course, I will advise on correct posture and technique for resistance training and provide progressive workouts to ensure that you reap the benefits.

Fitness testing - I can provide a range of cardiovascular, strength and flexibility fitness tests to ensure that you are making progress.

Flexibility – with age we lose flexibility and this can inhibit our exercise technique. For example, if our hip flexors are tight, this may mean we won’t have the mobility to run as fast as we could with more flexibility in that area. I can assess your flexibility and provide developmental stretches where necessary.
I have particular interest in weight loss and nutrition. Nutrition is often an overlooked fundamental part of any exercise plan. Here I would draw from the invaluable information learned on the YMCA Exercise and Nutrition course.

Resistance (strength) training for women – As a member of a local health club myself, I notice that the female members often shy away from resistance training, perhaps not understanding the benefits it can bring when performed correctly. Just look at what they’re missing out on:-
